Tax Incentives in Response to Covid-19 Pandemic
On April 27th, 2020, the Egyptian Taxes Authority issued its Decree number 47 of 2020 declares the sectors that are negatively affected by COVID 19 and will be able to benefit from the 3 months installment of the Income Tax for the year 2019, as follows:
1-Aviation.
2-Tourism (including Cafes and Restaurants).
3-Hotels.
4-Media and Newspaper.
5-Manufacturing companies, save for fields that are related to Food and Beverage, Medicine, Medical Supplies, and Sanitary Cleaners.
6-Transportation and Car distributors.
7-Hospitals.
8-Construction.
The income tax of Y2019 will be paid on installments as follows:
20% in April
30% in May
50% in June
